Newbubbles encourages students of all ages to join our writing team. We want to know what you think about your school, your teachers, your subjects...in fact your whole life in education. Tell us what is good, tell us what is bad! In particular, we would like to hear about:

Writing an Article
Once you are on our team, there are two ways to get paid for your writing:
Contact us to discuss your writing idea and we can help you produce an article that you can earn money from
Your article will be published on our website or newsletter if it meets with our approval.
We will publish submission times on this page when we would be happy to receive articles for review - keep your eyes peeled for these times. We will not normally review articles outside these submission times.
Approving Articles for Publication
For clarity, we define an article as a piece of critical writing of no less than 1000 words about national or international education issues. It must be an original piece of work.
We do not approve every article . For those articles that we do not approve, we will e-mail you with our decision. If the reason is to do with your article's content or structure, we will endeavour to give you suggestions on how to improve it for re-submission. However, we cannot guarantee this - if you have not heard back, please e-mail us at email@example.com.
E-mail us your article at any time of the year. we will endeavour to use it wherever possible and credit you as author.
Author Credit & Copyright
Articles will be published on our website or newsletter and you will be credited as author. If you wish to be considered for a commission with Newbubbles, please write a 1000 word article on an education topic of your choice and send to:
The Intellectual copyright for the article remains with the author. However, by agreeing to be published with Newbubbles, you agree that we can use this article - in part or in full - in other publications or literature we produce as long as you are given public credit for its authorship.
Payment for Articles
Once you are on our writing team, we will endeavour to use you for a range of paid writing projects. We will pay £10.00 (1000 words) to £50.00 (5,000 words) for each article we publish (and anything in between).
You need to be 13 years or over to be eligible for a commission, and for writers aged 13-16 you will need parental consent to participate in this scheme. This consent can be e-mailed to us at firstname.lastname@example.org OR sent to: WritingCommissions, Newbubbles Ltd, 47 Chichester Road, North End, Portsmouth, HANTS. PO2 OAB.
You may be asked for other substantiating documentation to verify your age before we can proceed with you joining our writing team.
Payment will be by company cheque or Paypal account to the named author or guardian of the author. This agreement will be discussed before we publish any article and it is a condition of publication that you agree to these terms and conditions.
Notes on Plagiarism
We will not make payment for any article that we believe is plagiarised from a third party source. This puts the integrity of our work and the work of other writers at great risk. If we believe your article is the result of plagiarism, we will inform you and ask you to re-write the offending paragraphs.
Consistent attempts to pass plagiarist work off as your own will result in the immediate cancellation of your membership with our writing team and the revoke of any special privileges conferred by this membership. We reserve the right to contact the original authors and/or publication houses that own the original copyright, and assist them with any further enquiries regarding the alleged copyright infringement.
